| Data from the comprehensive 1984-1987 Adirondack Lakes Survey (ALS) may be searched using the tools below. Data available includes; physical location, morphometrics, watershed, shoreline, substrate characteristics, and water chemistry.This was a synoptic survey and thus represents a snapshot of the environment at the time these waters were sampled. For this reason, the information provided is intended to provide the user with baseline information but is inappropriate for analysis purposes. Although information is readily available for 1469 waters, no data can be downloaded from this site.
